چکیده
Aim . To assess the structure and performance of left atrium (LA) before after 3 cycles anticancer treatment in lymphoma patients, as well incidences supraventricular arrhythmia (SVA) levels biomarkers inflammation. Material Methods This is a prospective observational study patients with confirmed diagnosis [n=23; 57% men; median age 52 (34;64) years], who had no prior polychemotherapy. The comparison group included persons without [n=18; 50% 43 (37; 54) years] comparable main terms sex, risk factors for cardiovascular diseases. Patients underwent 24h-ECG monitoring advanced transthoracic echocardiography at baseline (within months) treatment. Biomarkers inflammation were measured. results compared data group. Results In LA reservoir, conduit, booster function found to be impaired but these matched controls. After treatment, trend reduction conduit strain was found. proportion those SVA significantly higher chemotherapy anti-cancer or controls: vs 10% 33% respectively (p<0.05). Lymphoma number premature ventricular beats than control [183 (14;841) 38 (14;94) 9 (4;38) respectively]. There associations between parameters SVA. Moderate positive correlation ESR complexes (r S =0.44; p<0.05). A contractile inflammatory revealed: active ejection fraction (LA EF act ) =0.42, p<0.05); volume index β-globulin =0.43, neuregulin-1β expansion =0.55, Conclusions phasic regardless

Associates and Prognosis of Giant Left Atrium; Single Center Experience
Background Left atrial (LA) remodeling develops as a result of longstanding pressure overload. However, determinants and clinical outcome of excessive remodeling, so called giant left atrium (GLA), are not clear. Methods Clinical characteristics of patients with GLA (antero-posterior diameter higher than 65 mm), including echo-Doppler parameters, and follow-up clinical outcomes from a tertiar...
متن کاملAnalysis of prognostic factors in lymphoma patients with bone marrow involvement: a single center cohort study.
The objective of this study was to explore prognostic factors in lymphoma patients with bone marrow involvement (Ann Arbor stage IV). To that end, we analyzed a cohort study of 68 stage IV lymphoma patients. We found that the most predictive thresholds for lymphocyte rate, monocyte rate, and lymphocyte to monocyte ratio (LMR) were 30%, 13%, and 3, respectively. A lymphocyte rate <30%, a monocyt...
متن کاملThe Evaluation of Immunophenotypes in Diffuse Large B Cell Lymphoma: A Single Center Study
Background: Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) is an aggressive malignancy of mature B lymphocytes. It is known as a heterogeneous disease with variable therapeutic responses and alternative therapies. Morphological and immunophenotypical evaluation of the biopsy specimens can help diagnose DLBCL. Methods: In the current study, 44 patients were chosen from Shaheed Sadoghi Hospital (2010&nda...

conclusions endocarditis is an important disease with a high mortality rate if not treated appropriately. therefore, these patients need more attention. in echocardiography, vegetation and complications of ie such as abscess and paravalvular leakage can be detected. results we studied 35 patients, 45% male and 55% female with a mean age of 56.36 ± 12.44 years. fever (80%) and chills (65.7%) wer...
متن کاملNon-Hodgkin's lymphoma with bone involvement: a single center experience with 18 patients.
OBJECTIVE Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL) of bone is a rare entity. The most common histological subtype is diffuse large B cell lymphoma (DLBCL). The major presenting symptoms are soft tissue swelling, bone pain and pathological fracture. Treatment options are chemotherapy, radiotherapy, surgery, or a combination of these modalities. METHODS We retrospectively analyzed the 18 patients (11 femal...
